Documentary (26 min)

Producer | Director | DP | Editor |

In the summer of 1956, photographer Gordon Parks visited Mobile, Alabama and photographed segregation for Life Magazine. Those photographs were displayed in Mobile for the first time in January, 2021 at the Mobile Museum of Art during a special exhibition. Produced for the Museum and framed within the preparation of the exhibition's opening, the film explores how the photographs continue to shed light on the past, resonate with the present, and inform the future.
