Since 2020, Mobile Baykeeper has worked with the NOAA Marine Debris Program to educate and build awareness about the city's litter problem and how it affects its waters, while providing solutions to local business owners about finding alternatives to single-use plastics. "Reduce the Use: Plastic in Three Parts” follows a chef/restaurant owner, Mobile Bay shrimper, and a litter solutions expert in a triptych portrait of how single-use plastic effects the ecology, economy, cuisine, and culture of the Gulf city of Mobile, Alabama.
